Dreamer

As you probably read in my last post, I celebrated my birthday earlier this month.  In our local paper is the daily horoscope, so I decided to see how mine described a person born on that day.  It said I was a dreamer.  Well, that made me laugh!  I can't tell you how many times over the years my mom has said to me, "Patty, you're a dreamer."  The card I'm sharing today was made with that thought in mind.  I recently saw a card created by Lea Lawson on the Prima blog that I fell in love with, so I lifted that design from her beautiful card.  Everything about this card uses things I love.

The paper, resin frame, and ballerina image are from Melissa Frances (how I love her products).  The flowers are Prima.  I used a Martha Stewart pearl and rhinestone sticker frame around the resin frame and a little Jolee's swirl in the upper left corner.  The heart-shaped lock charm is from Recollections.  I stamped the sentiment onto a Martha Stewart label.

I am not always happy with some of the things I make, but I really do love how this turned out thanks to inspiration from Lea Lawson.  Have a wonderful week!
