More Romance Novel Paper

Hi everyone!  Again, I have another card using Prima's beautiful Romance Novel papers.  I can't believe how many projects I've made from this 6x6 paper pad and still have most of the pad yet to use!  I love the vintage cream, black and pink colors together.

I fussy cut some flowers and distressed the edges of all the papers.  The diecut heart was a gift from a friend which I inked up a bit with tea dye Distress Ink.  The tiny envelope and "beautiful" label were  cut from one of the sheets of paper in the pad.  It holds a little tag (also cut from the paper) with a stamped birthday sentiment.  The flowers (all inked with tea dye) are Prima except for the lacy one from Recollections.  I placed a Recollections pebble in the center of the larger flower.  A bit of twine and Recollections crystals finishes it off.

We had about 8 inches of snow here on Thursday.  Everything looked so beautiful especially the trees!  However, warmer temperatures arrive this week.  I'm not too happy about that since I love the winter.  I think I have the opposite seasonal affective disorder that most people get in winter--I get it in summer, seriously!

Thank you so much for stopping by and your kind comments.  Wishing everyone a wonderful week and, hopefully, time crafting!

  10. Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog, Patti! The background paper of my lay-out was actually a die-cut paper from My Mind's Eye, the So Sophie collection. I didn't make it myself unfortunately ;)
