Hi dear friends! Looks like Spring will be short lived here as temperatures will be in the 80s beginning today, so I guess Summer is starting early. It is a pretty day today. We are celebrating Mother's Day a week early with my husband's family today, so the weather is cooperating.
Also, today is my parents' 63rd wedding anniversary. In honor of the occasion, I made this card for them using a lot of diecuts.
A sheet of flower paper from Prima's Anna Marie collection was attached to a white cardstock base followed by a sheet of gold patterned paper. The pink doily is from one of my most favorite Prima dies (but then again, I love everything Prima). A layered heart sticker was glued to a black diecut heart and placed onto the doily. The rose diecut and tag were placed at opposite corners. These rose diecuts are Anna Griffin. The pretty pink crystals are from Doodlebug Design. The gold stickers are from Making Memories. A pink bow adds the last detail.
I wasn't quite sure if I liked this card, but it is starting to grow on me. Do you ever feel that way with things you make? I did accomplish quite a bit of crafting this weekend, so I feel good about that.
That's it for me today. I thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and appreciate each and every one of your sweet comments. Have a wonderful week!
