Hi there, everyone! I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. For those of us here in the States, it is a long Memorial Day weekend honoring those who served. It's been a rough week for me as it appears I came down with the flu and an upper respiratory infection. Still not feeling very well and hoping it passes soon.
Today's post is a tag using a gorgeous burlap flower. You may recall a card I made using the same type of flower in a previous post.
I began by attaching a piece of older K&Co paper to a premade tag. The edges were inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink. A bit of cheesecloth was added next. The flowers and leaves are Petaloo, and the butterfly and gems are Recollections. Sheer ribbon was added as a finishing touch.
I really love these colors! They just seem so peaceful and relaxing. I never tire of the old K&Co papers--probably one of the first lines I bought and still have plenty left.
That's it for me today. It's a beautiful day here and I hope to be feeling well enough to go out and enjoy it. Have a wonderful week!
