Brown and Teal Birthday Card

Hi friends.  We have a bit of a break today from the extreme heat and humidity, thank goodness!  I plan to enjoy the weather before the heat/humidity returns in a couple of days.

Today, I have a card to share using scraps from Pink Paislee's Hope Chest collection.  I began by attaching a piece of the patterned paper to a white cardstock base.  A piece of white crochet trim was added to the bottom.  Next came a Prima doily die in white, Pink Paislee journaling cards, and a Maya Road polka dot envelope filled with some PP ephemera.  In between, I tucked in some diecut Prima leaves and a diecut flower from Wild Rose Studio.  The butterfly is from Jenni Bowlin.  Flowers are Petaloo.  The button is from Jolee.  The banner was stamped with a Papertrey Ink sentiment and adhered to the flower cluster with a hemp bow.

It's amazing how many little odds and ends from collections that one can accumulate!  It does feel good to use up these pieces as I hate to waste things.

That's it for today.  I have some things to get done around the house and plan to enjoy a bit of time outdoors.  Thank you so much for stopping by as well as for your kind comments.  I enjoy reading them.  Have a wonderful week!
