To My Love Card

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I have a sweet card to share with you using an image from Blue Fern Studios.

The card began with a white cardstock base followed by a layer of pink cardstock and then pattern paper on top.  The beautiful diecut heart is from Memory Box and was a gift from a dear friend.  Tiny lace trim from Joann's edges the sweet image.  Lace trims were also added across the bottom of the card.  The fabric flower with dangles in the upper right corner was also a gift.  Flowers from Recollections and a hemp bow add the final touch.

This card came together very quickly and I am happy with the results.  I love that Memory Box heart die and need to find it for my collection!

After a week that saw record-breaking warm temperatures followed the next day by a couple of inches of snow, today is a rainy, raw day.  Good day to stay indoors and relax!  Big changes for me at work which I'm trying to not stress about.  Praying for a positive outcome.  I do tend to worry so, thank goodness, I have my crafting which takes my mind off things.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.  I appreciate each of your kind comments.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

  5. Patty, this is gorgeous! The abundance of trims makes my heart dance and I love the touch of gold. The lace-trimmed image makes it all the more romantic and dreamy... as do the stunning flowers. Your layering is just so pretty. I too love that heart die and hope you get it. I am keeping you in my prayers, sweet friend. God is with you everywhere you go and He will always cause you to triumph! (And thank you for your endless kindness! I appreciate your encouragement so much. I've never done a tutorial, but perhaps I will dabble into them this year.) Have a beautiful night, my dear friend!

    Hugs and blessings,
