Paris Flea Market Tag

Hi friends!  I hope you are having an enjoyable Sunday.  The big excitement in my corner of the world is the total eclipse tomorrow.  We are supposed to be able to see 80% of it here, weather permitting.  Yes, we do have the special glasses needed to look at it.

Today, I am sharing a tag made with Pion Design's Paris Flea Market papers.  I just love their beautifully shabby chic papers and hesitate to cut into them.  I realize that I cannot save everything, so cut into them I did!

Beginning with a premade tag, I covered both sides with the paper, inked and distressed the edges.  Next began the layering of various laces, trims and appliques from my stash.  Smaller tags were cut from the papers and placed under the beautiful image of the lady.  A cluster of flowers and leaves were added at the bottom of the image.  A butterfly was cut from the paper and adhered to the top right corner.  Some rhinestones and pearls were added for accent and a seam binding bow tied to the top.

Making tags brings me such joy and pleasure.  With papers like Pion Design collections, this is so easily achieved.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.  I appreciate each of your kind comments.  Have a wonderful week ahead and try to make some time for crafting!
