Twinkle Snowflakes Tag

It's a rainy day here in my neck of the woods.  Wish it was snow!  Anyway, I'm sharing a tag with snowflakes to get my snowy fix!

Using a tag I cut from a cereal box, I covered it with the beautiful papers from Stamperia's Blue Stars collection.  Lace trims from my stash were added at the bottom along with a few rhinestone accents.  The large snowflakes were a gift to me and the silver snowflakes were cut with a Cheery Lynn die.  There are also clear acrylic snowflakes on top of the silver snowflakes.  The adorable image is from the same Stamperia collection and I added Melissa Frances glass glitter to the edges.  It may be difficult to see but I added some Wink of Stella to the little girls's wings.  The "twinkle" diecut is Tim Holtz.  The tag was finished with seam binding and a hemp bow at the top.  The silver snowflake charm is also from Tim Holtz.

This  card was fun for me to make as it is filled with wintry goodness.  The Blue Stars paper collection has a wonderful assortment of images and pattern papers.

Well, that's it for me today.  I thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and for the kind comments you leave.  I seemed to have a problem with my post from last week showing up on Blogger so I hope today's post shows up in the feed.  Enjoy the week ahead!

  4. Patty, this tag is indeed full of wintry delight! I swear we are following or perhaps leading your weather pattern. (Or do you live in my town?) I adore your snowflakes--those silver ones melt my heart! I love how you've framed your adorable image with the glass glitter and given the appearance of snowdrifts and icicles through use of your lovely trims. Gorgeous!

  8. GORGEOUS!!! I just love blue for a wintery creation, so frosty and icy! The gilded edges on the image is quite magical and all of your glittery snowflakes are so beautiful! A stunning tag my friend!

It's been a long two weeks fighting off this darned flu bug, but I'm on the mend now. Being sick is so freaking boring, so I'm really looking forward to my next outdoor adventure. I hope you have been avoiding the ickies this year and having good weather to enjoy. sending hugs :)
