Birthday Wishes Card

Hello friends!  I hope everyone has had a good week.  It's been a chilly one here but signs of spring are popping out all over.

Today, I have a birthday card to share that I made for one of my sisters-in-law.  The paper and journaling card are from Bo Bunny and are perfect for a spring birthday.

Beginning with a white cardstock base, I glued a sheet of the paper and then attached the journaling card with foam tape for dimension.  The wreath is from Memory Box and the center diecut is from Spellbinders.  The circle of rhinestones are from Recollections and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  The fairy was cut from glittered silver cardstock.  The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.  The flowers and lace were gifts.  The rhinestone center in the one flower is Prima.

I love the colors and patterns in this particular Bo Bunny collection.  It makes me think of spring each time I use it.

Thank you so much for taking time to stop by.  Please come back again.  I also appreciate your sweet comments.  Wishing all the best in the upcoming week!

  3. Patty, this is a beautiful card to celebrate your sister in laws special day! That paper is stunning and I love that you paired it with all these gorgeous/delicate die cuts. That glittery fairy is so sweet! Cold for this time of the year here, too, and I bet the Azalea Belles hope it warms up before next weekend when they will be gracing the beautiful gardens on the annual Azalea Festival Garden Tour. My azaleas all turned brown from that last really cold snap we had in March. Hugs!

  4. So beautiful! Love all the wonderful colours and layered elements. Gorgeous bling and that fairy is simply divine!! Your sister in law must have been over the moon when she received this!

I find every year, that the weather is just a little bit crazier than it was the year before. Last week I was making patio garden plans, this week I I had to pull out the snow shovel!! It sure can be difficult to make any plans when your not sure what season it's going to be tomorrow. lol. I hope all has been well with you this last couple of weeks. Thinking of you and sending hugs :)
