Yesterday Tag

Hello friends.  Another somewhat rainy Sunday here today, but I don't mind.  I love rainy days.  It is Memorial Day weekend here in the States where we honor those who lost their lives in the wars.

Recently, I received a 6x6 paper pad from Lemoncraft.  The collection is called "Yesterday" and the papers are beautifully shabby chic.  They inspired me to make this tag.

The front and back of the tag were covered with papers from the collection.  Everything else is from my stash.  Pleated netting and lace trim were placed at the bottom.  Cheesecloth was then added to the top of the tag.  An assortment of flowers and leaves (some Prima) form a cluster partially around the framed vintage photo.  Pearls are Prima.  The butterfly is from Lemoncraft and was given a coat of clear Wink of Stella.  Glitter touches were added to some of the flowers.  A strip of lace was tied to the top of the tag.

I love to make tags and this one came together so easily.  I cannot wait to use this paper collection again to make other things.  It is so pretty!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.  I appreciate your kind comments.  For those who celebrate, have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend.  Wishing all a wonderful week ahead!
