It's been quite awhile since I last posted. Has anyone noticed? I do not seem to get many visitors to this blog anymore. I haven't been well for almost a month but not from covid-19, thank goodness (and I pray I don't get it). Long story short, I had to get an infusion of a medication to treat my bones and had some problems with the side effects. Right now, things have improved but still some discomfort. I couldn't use my hands very well, which made it difficult to grip things. Crafting was put on hold for about a month. </p><p>Fortunately, having been making Christmas cards all this year, I had enough on hand to send out. Today, I am sharing few Christmas cards that were flat enough to mail. Thanks for stopping by!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2B-Ao_nM2PlKjLhV6tZROar5eC8cPb5ZW7zc5N_ihYCh-LiNWIbDRJ_jYvFZozTeD5wVPyrTA_kro3_1aJwvVlJNNphzdv1hCAFipy85_AKNkBqlUGjsyOXH0VTKtJbYHZZMDspNWU54/s2048/20201214_160547.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1650" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2B-Ao_nM2PlKjLhV6tZROar5eC8cPb5ZW7zc5N_ihYCh-LiNWIbDRJ_jYvFZozTeD5wVPyrTA_kro3_1aJwvVlJNNphzdv1hCAFipy85_AKNkBqlUGjsyOXH0VTKtJbYHZZMDspNWU54/s320/20201214_160547.jpg" /></a></div><p>This card is for my sweet grandson and it features a stamp from Photoplay and dies from Memory Box and Poppy.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfCIooK5fRrx21LCsFEfy8T4QcRBj3cR-Ts_KVNt_rq9mlQd0YpF4C91QVhaQiY4ngygnhjLaRh-GNE-WI6Xn4WOfvHBgn83B1ion_TQgdeMaEgppD-7GIKDRUXz6V_Qug1Bu5XOSDkSg/s2048/20201205_092446.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfCIooK5fRrx21LCsFEfy8T4QcRBj3cR-Ts_KVNt_rq9mlQd0YpF4C91QVhaQiY4ngygnhjLaRh-GNE-WI6Xn4WOfvHBgn83B1ion_TQgdeMaEgppD-7GIKDRUXz6V_Qug1Bu5XOSDkSg/s320/20201205_092446.jpg" /></a></div><p>This card uses a stamp and frame die from Impression Obsession as does the next card.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJd5VQ1zWTZ6f1P6WWJD7INIMxGQxMXpp6na9ixODLU9LZ8Ke7TtsOn7iH_LyxOecy5HbymSfPdA1hp1D6_sQiT7on1OT_VQu_quuq55CiE6NolL5qFmtS9tI7xMqvaVGSgkITIVcYFAM/s2048/20201205_092414.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJd5VQ1zWTZ6f1P6WWJD7INIMxGQxMXpp6na9ixODLU9LZ8Ke7TtsOn7iH_LyxOecy5HbymSfPdA1hp1D6_sQiT7on1OT_VQu_quuq55CiE6NolL5qFmtS9tI7xMqvaVGSgkITIVcYFAM/s320/20201205_092414.jpg" /></a></div>Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-87051651858018883532020-11-15T07:56:00.002-08:002020-11-15T07:56:40.055-08:00Meowy Christmas Card<p> Hi friends! Just a quick post today. Still trying to stay positive and safe during this pandemic. My crafty mojo has been gone but I forced myself to make this card. I used stamps from the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2020 release from Simon Says Stamp. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmbJgpQiUFz721DxvFL5K2NHMpjZtKiwO-oqL3jXro-WuaA7nIu1OEq8qGRxB_QEHEJM-F8epL5fQ5E-9MLN7KSrHLnRKqIBn8B0AN5NIx3KpndV1B3Zi_Yz3E3JTRg-lIYY7RoGqmaMw/s2048/20201113_143643.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1550" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmbJgpQiUFz721DxvFL5K2NHMpjZtKiwO-oqL3jXro-WuaA7nIu1OEq8qGRxB_QEHEJM-F8epL5fQ5E-9MLN7KSrHLnRKqIBn8B0AN5NIx3KpndV1B3Zi_Yz3E3JTRg-lIYY7RoGqmaMw/s320/20201113_143643.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I wanted to make a card flat enough for mailing, so this card has very little dimension. The plaid paper is from an older Tim Holtz Christmas paper pad. The tree is by Tim Holtz. The image was colored with Copic Markers and accented with Distress Ink. Twine and flat gold beads are from my stash The string of lights, the cats nose and eyes were highlighted with Glossy Accents.<div><br /></div><div>There it is. I'm not real thrilled with the card but I tried. Today is overcast with heavy winds and rain predicted later so I'm off to put on a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup. Have a good week ahead, everyone, and stay safe. Thanks for stopping by!<div><p><br /></p></div></div>Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-15484237531372265122020-11-01T10:30:00.001-08:002020-11-01T10:30:19.175-08:00Eek! Card<p> Happy November! Anyone out there glad to see this year over? For me, there are more reasons than one! I'm a little late in sharing this Halloween card. Halloween is not big on my list of things but I wanted to make a card for my sweet little grandson that wasn't scary.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaLWWe5TDhskYx5jRVQgGaL64jiysq2KhSXX4VedesE3ExiLpxKKARoSzKxwYrjPRrRwKtNSFp7HMOVu1zwO83sYGYgetDw2wqd4bh00a0eD5F9kpNSOiDXhHirKyvUtYdBr8W0GfpH9g/s2048/20201008_163133.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaLWWe5TDhskYx5jRVQgGaL64jiysq2KhSXX4VedesE3ExiLpxKKARoSzKxwYrjPRrRwKtNSFp7HMOVu1zwO83sYGYgetDw2wqd4bh00a0eD5F9kpNSOiDXhHirKyvUtYdBr8W0GfpH9g/s320/20201008_163133.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p>This stamp and die set is from Taylored Expressions. I thought it was just so cute and sweet! Those of you who know me well know that I am not a spider fan but these ones are not scary! Copic markers were used to color the images. Edges were inked with Distress Ink. Glossy Accents, Stickles and sequins give added sparkle. </p><p>Well, that's all for today. It's a rainy chilly day here and I'm about to roast a chicken for a bit of comfort food. Stay safe and well, everyone. US citizens, if you haven't yet, please make sure to vote!</p><p><br /></p>Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-68943019368925616172020-10-04T11:03:00.001-07:002020-10-04T11:03:30.297-07:00Celebrate Any Day Cards<p> Hi friends! It has been awhile since my last post. I am still working on my Christmas cards so, hopefully, I will be in good shape come the time to mail them out. I am so glad to have things I enjoy to pass the time away during this pandemic! Don't get me wrong--I do have my down days but my hobbies have been a source of needed distraction.</p><p>Today, I would like to share two cards I made using a stamp and die set from Pink Fresh Studios/Altenew. I decided to do a little watercoloring and stamped and embossed the image on both cards.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg0F0A4l8uVSUjn8RKdwGBI4x0euSP38nbI6uhB3qhE7a6KFqaGY0my04ZBBr-pDaFwxKINgFAhWqYZGgul_AqU5oQSET4yuL7uxt7QlXkb25-9wsFbeQwqsKnAnXfbM15ZSowHS_EM74/s2048/20201004_131003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1659" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg0F0A4l8uVSUjn8RKdwGBI4x0euSP38nbI6uhB3qhE7a6KFqaGY0my04ZBBr-pDaFwxKINgFAhWqYZGgul_AqU5oQSET4yuL7uxt7QlXkb25-9wsFbeQwqsKnAnXfbM15ZSowHS_EM74/s320/20201004_131003.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p>My first card is done in soft colors using Distress Oxides. A Sunny Studios embossing folder was used on the background. The sentiment, which was included with the stamp set, was embossed with Silver Recollections embossing powder on vellum. Studio Katia clear droplets were used for accent.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJgzWsQhong8oSyYkxZQQ3-FlJ81fchHbSb_ka_Y02ZjCvUlS946vAExNG_J6D7Z1bD0QLr7rfpI0MDjtv7XdgSOlKWpWiTwPuG3Kq1YYgTRYrHQ95rMH2R0rVRqkboilWmnUX6vTApvo/s2048/20201004_131025.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1641" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJgzWsQhong8oSyYkxZQQ3-FlJ81fchHbSb_ka_Y02ZjCvUlS946vAExNG_J6D7Z1bD0QLr7rfpI0MDjtv7XdgSOlKWpWiTwPuG3Kq1YYgTRYrHQ95rMH2R0rVRqkboilWmnUX6vTApvo/s320/20201004_131025.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div>My next card was colored with Zig Watercolor Markers. The same Sunny Studios embossing folder was used as well as a different sentiment from the stamp set. Studio Katia Iridescent drops were used as accent here.<br /><p>My goal was to make some cards flat enough for mailing. Even though the drops are dimensional, I think they can still go through the mail in a flat envelope.</p><p>That's about it for me today. It is a beautiful Fall day here. Our dog is under the weather so I had to make a trip to the veterinarian for medication. Hopefully, it will do the trick. I hope all is well with you and you are staying safe. Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate your kind comments.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-3688082813972774642020-09-06T08:52:00.000-07:002020-09-06T08:52:03.462-07:00Magnolia Winter Card<p> Hello friends! I hope all is well in your corner of the world. Things here are still the same. Covid-19 cases still on the rise as colleges resume and summer is still in full swing. It is difficult for me not to be fearful. I pray that we all get through this.</p><p>On a lighter note, crafting has been my escape. I have colored up a lot of images that are now waiting to be made into cards. Maybe, this year, I won't be behind in my Christmas cardmaking! </p><p>Today, I have a card to share using a sweet stamp and dies from Magnolia. Since the summer has been so hot and humid, winter cards seemed to be a good idea to try to think cool!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9qPUkdkEM7kz-S7rslA078wCobXJ-i1C-FonwbdkdeIg_Fdjt_8FXsZ4YRXUPrtzEs-XiIq1wj5LFPSZIBeDKzc6xbZXUACBoDQFbTqkGpfiNNRHZQ_WcCAtFPGip2DXIrfGL9kDV5yI/s2048/20200809_174427.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1655" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9qPUkdkEM7kz-S7rslA078wCobXJ-i1C-FonwbdkdeIg_Fdjt_8FXsZ4YRXUPrtzEs-XiIq1wj5LFPSZIBeDKzc6xbZXUACBoDQFbTqkGpfiNNRHZQ_WcCAtFPGip2DXIrfGL9kDV5yI/s320/20200809_174427.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p>The background paper is from Craft O'Clock. The snowflake die is from Tim Holtz and the sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. As mentioned, the stamp, lamppost and cat are Magnolia. The flowers and trim are from my stash. I used Distress Ink to color Tilda and a bit of Stickles to highlight the lamp and candle. </p><p>Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. I do appreciate any comments you leave. Stay safe!</p><p><br /></p>Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-38071472484760717592020-08-19T10:17:00.000-07:002020-08-19T10:17:35.215-07:00Birthday Card for Dad<p> Today is my Dad's birthday and this is the card I made for him. As always, my favorite product line to use for masculine cards is Tim Holtz.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGVFV0mEVujRzR8e1F22ipS5aq9pEWiHL3tpXmMUl6Cd_BJUJKsKuSw4lLo3RDG5dy7rTlfgmxnpnufq_x3E9_LiqIKNXvSeocUGqgW4haVbIP0i6uL8WBhMM7q4NHTln2XH4nPWZQRwM/s2048/20200815_153416.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1645" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGVFV0mEVujRzR8e1F22ipS5aq9pEWiHL3tpXmMUl6Cd_BJUJKsKuSw4lLo3RDG5dy7rTlfgmxnpnufq_x3E9_LiqIKNXvSeocUGqgW4haVbIP0i6uL8WBhMM7q4NHTln2XH4nPWZQRwM/s640/20200815_153416.jpg" /></a></div><p>I just love the Feathered Friends die set and used Distress Inks to color up this bird. The bird is perched on a Funky Wreath die. The sentiments are cut from the Celebration Words set. I used the Lumber 3-D embossing folder for the background. The frame is from Memory Box and the enamel dots are from my stash.</p><p>August is a big birthday month for me with family members and friends as well as myself celebrating our birthdays. Of course, Covid-19 has put a damper on things but we do what we have to do.</p><p>Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog. I have been doing fairly well in preparing cards for Christmas. I have several finished plus a lot of images colored that are waiting to be made into cards. Hopefully, I won't be making any last minute cards this year!<div><br /></div><div>Today, I am sharing a card using this adorable stamp set from Penny Black called "yummy". I had so much fun coloring it with Copic Markers. There was a lot of fussy cutting but was easy to do. I hope all is well with you especially as we are in the midst of this pandemic. We are staying home except for necessities and checking up on my parents. We have been able to spend some time with our grandson but all other contact is limited until this virus gets under control.<div><br /></div><div>In the meantime, I am so grateful for my crafting hobby. I've been making a lot of cards and will share three with you today.</div><div><br /></div><div>The first two are made with dies from Ink to Paper as well as coloring with Papertrey Inks. I love this bouquet die.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_koJtBKt2SWi9IxXXJn6aI0FBhdmrDZ7HUnt3q6rBj3ISQcNt6Le0h6GOuxkNufwGBXpS9ibIlhfeTHldhtyzKexvKGAF45UNZGmpxuPEP99sq8bRdUkodfVZMR5BXM0KuP-0kQOtmEA/s2048/20200614_151659.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1851" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_koJtBKt2SWi9IxXXJn6aI0FBhdmrDZ7HUnt3q6rBj3ISQcNt6Le0h6GOuxkNufwGBXpS9ibIlhfeTHldhtyzKexvKGAF45UNZGmpxuPEP99sq8bRdUkodfVZMR5BXM0KuP-0kQOtmEA/s320/20200614_151659.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6gZBU8JhKdHxVV0hEE0onnlSPhLwqNR46CT1auqaTN7W3bru9Zzq_ox8BDxWG8YoDhkyg72S8czKNEKl2ffK9mMBfaihb6OrUWIvlWE7_NaNp6_Go3D3u8LIkSDKx7of_zSDjyi830MY/s2048/20200628_162316.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1610" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6gZBU8JhKdHxVV0hEE0onnlSPhLwqNR46CT1auqaTN7W3bru9Zzq_ox8BDxWG8YoDhkyg72S8czKNEKl2ffK9mMBfaihb6OrUWIvlWE7_NaNp6_Go3D3u8LIkSDKx7of_zSDjyi830MY/s320/20200628_162316.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>The pretty die behind the flower bouquet on the second card is from Spellbinders. I did use some gems from Queen & Co as well as Pretty Pink Posh for accents.</div><div><br /></div><div>My next card was made for my Dad for Father's Day using everything from Tim Holtz. Tim's products are my favorite to use on masculine cards as I have a difficult time coming up with ideas for them. His many products make it easy to put something together. Of course, the products are versatile for any occasion. In fact, I am working on a Christmas card using his new feathered friends and wreath dies.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIw3CBDhbboUKjC0QOjms3isaDhwgrdylz42TKRqZf8Q1g35e_suPtQpyy48rTN8ViYJzcJ7M7BpWwH2MxE5e5M1fvQD9AZWyNpzH5n2JR8uH7VfzFMQyj6b1lwQJIAPap7BFmviVIK5o/s2048/20200621_111848.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1574" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIw3CBDhbboUKjC0QOjms3isaDhwgrdylz42TKRqZf8Q1g35e_suPtQpyy48rTN8ViYJzcJ7M7BpWwH2MxE5e5M1fvQD9AZWyNpzH5n2JR8uH7VfzFMQyj6b1lwQJIAPap7BFmviVIK5o/s320/20200621_111848.jpg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Activity on this blog has decreased but I have not been posting much either. I hope you are coping well with whatever phase of coronavirus restrictions you are in. Our area of the state is still in full restrictions and will be for the foreseeable future. The northwest corner of our state will move to the yellow phase this week as they are a less densely populated area.<br />
<br />
In my quest for keeping my mind occupied with positive things these days, I pulled out my Tim Holtz Wildflowers and Scribbly Butterflies dies and came up with this quick and simple card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSIwbFqiU-ZPHajo6pM43gG24FI9FCrj3fJCjnIh5v4ZAPvQKYLdW4AgRxe3YIp-_4nQzCwFpb5wP8lslrweKxGMVfIKtvBXbAr0ulUeu8ats1Ituhqz0_hnZnqMx6yuB7_NSwPkmThbc/s1600/20200502_164657.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSIwbFqiU-ZPHajo6pM43gG24FI9FCrj3fJCjnIh5v4ZAPvQKYLdW4AgRxe3YIp-_4nQzCwFpb5wP8lslrweKxGMVfIKtvBXbAr0ulUeu8ats1Ituhqz0_hnZnqMx6yuB7_NSwPkmThbc/s320/20200502_164657.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Today is my parents' 68th wedding anniversary, so this card is for them. The background paper is from My Favorite Things paper pad called Watercolor Wash. I arranged a cluster of the wildflowers into a bouquet of sorts and tied a simple hemp bow at the base. Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished it off. <br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. I appreciate each comment left. Stay safe and stay healthy!<br />

I hope you are coping well with the various restrictions throughout the world due to the coronavirus. To give myself a distraction, I decided to make some cards to send to family and friends as a way to say thinking of you and perhaps even to brighten their day. Here is what I have done so far.<br />
<br />
I love this stamp set from Dina Wakley called "Good Idea." How appropriate as I think happy mail/snail mail is always a "good idea." Various Distress Inks were used to watercolor the images.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg32PuOjlATTzXCZG7KryYVLXotlCL0ndZUfZOqOBZt0MUMQG_bJCmcmix4suE-PVHZANYIpVfvYQ9x6C0ZyM2S8dNmTcmtXnm2aDqEMolwcSOpCUCJqaGKi1UL5MmngitsT2cVcOXVqms/s1600/20200401_144350.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg32PuOjlATTzXCZG7KryYVLXotlCL0ndZUfZOqOBZt0MUMQG_bJCmcmix4suE-PVHZANYIpVfvYQ9x6C0ZyM2S8dNmTcmtXnm2aDqEMolwcSOpCUCJqaGKi1UL5MmngitsT2cVcOXVqms/s320/20200401_144350.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Some cards had the stamped image backed with papers from Lemoncraft. Other images were simply popped up with foam tape. Sequins were added for a touch of sparkle. I tried to keep the cards as flat as possible for mailing. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjowIRT_bY5yrf9DliwJ8_XEauH9Ohil-h4LlkEE7kLFWEkTF4eCOh87Fmdli1YvPalZFprh-j-0b8sznrELjK1p0nE5j99I9qStCJENkMwtDVjAURjukFv0zn-tlkyqlVAdPxt0ch9Bw/s1600/20200404_152438.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjowIRT_bY5yrf9DliwJ8_XEauH9Ohil-h4LlkEE7kLFWEkTF4eCOh87Fmdli1YvPalZFprh-j-0b8sznrELjK1p0nE5j99I9qStCJENkMwtDVjAURjukFv0zn-tlkyqlVAdPxt0ch9Bw/s320/20200404_152438.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
My next group of cards were created with a stamp set from Penny Black and an embossing folder from Sunny Studios. The sentiment used on all cards was heat embossed with Gold embossing powder from Recollections.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />

<br />
Can you believe that Easter, such as it was this year, was only a week ago. One of the most difficult things to deal with is the social distancing. Thank goodness for video chats! We did get to see my son and his family from a distance for a few minutes on Easter Sunday. We stood on the sidewalk and they stayed in the yard. I cannot wait to be able to hold my grandson again and spend time as a family all together. Here is a picture.<br />
<br />

It has been awhile since I posted. I had high hopes for 2020 to be a better year; but, so far, it isn't working out that way. I thought I would pop in and share a spring tag I made and hope that it brings a bit of a distraction from current events.<br />

Everything I used was in my stash of supplies. I do know that the paper and the two fussy cut butterflies are from Prima and the other butterfly is from <a href="http://www.reneabouquets.com/">Reneabouquets</a>. The pretty foam roses were a gift. The pink-edged lace tied at the top was a thrift store find. <br />

My wish for all of us is to be safe from this coronavirus and a speedy recovery for those who have been infected with it. I pray that this disease somehow gets under control soon. Just a quick post today. While most people in the States will be watching the Super Bowl and enjoying yummy foods, I will be partaking in my colonoscopy prep day! No fun! But some things have to be done! lol<br />
<br />
Here is my wintry card. The beautiful papers are from Scrap Boys' Cotton Winter collection. The wreath was fussy cut from one of the pretty sheets. The layered poinsettia is made from a Tim Holtz die. The vintage image is from Pion Design. I added a few rhinestones to give the wreath some sparkle. <br />
<br />

Bear with me as I finish up a Christmas card share plus one that could also be for winter. I'm so late in posting these due to health issues plus the holidays. I really did not make many Christmas cards this year, so there isn't a lot in that area to show you.<br />
<br />
First up is a card I made using the Winter Fox collection by Papertrey Ink. This fox is so cute! I used various inks from Papertrey to stamp the images. I also added some Stickles and Wink of Stella for some sparkle. A silver snowflake was cut in half and placed behind the oval frame by Tim Holtz.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieYl7F1z4DqBEuhnz7AModsJpI5ThfY-uHI7bzcePPkcjc6H2jSVKXQYI-0bxEUbxy1HTyuqTfbyKCzUBIoVLEoI1XoDXlYmXX3HW7QJcp3YlFUaXo5ZTAzbHeONArFGAo-nhkI9FD0pw/s1600/IMGP3921.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1589" data-original-width="1265" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieYl7F1z4DqBEuhnz7AModsJpI5ThfY-uHI7bzcePPkcjc6H2jSVKXQYI-0bxEUbxy1HTyuqTfbyKCzUBIoVLEoI1XoDXlYmXX3HW7QJcp3YlFUaXo5ZTAzbHeONArFGAo-nhkI9FD0pw/s320/IMGP3921.JPG" width="254" /></a></div>
<br />
Next up is another card using stamps from Santa's Sleigh collection, again by Papertrey Ink. The image and sentiment were heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I used an embossing folder from Darice for the background. Gold cardstock from Simon Says Stamp was used for layering.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyDLJ5uDV1RJ6-sEuhfbYc0WujZVEj8zOgm8iPPFkVRWhkfMMbwNCiPBHVSGEQJCM7HNQ_7NrTVwoGRdEzlvYfurSQzaKyX6iJ_VvbpkhedeCnYSazbl6r71qUfy0-XwnC5ikn8M5p1Jk/s1600/IMGP3927.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1282" data-original-width="1600" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyDLJ5uDV1RJ6-sEuhfbYc0WujZVEj8zOgm8iPPFkVRWhkfMMbwNCiPBHVSGEQJCM7HNQ_7NrTVwoGRdEzlvYfurSQzaKyX6iJ_VvbpkhedeCnYSazbl6r71qUfy0-XwnC5ikn8M5p1Jk/s320/IMGP3927.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
These cards were so easy and simple to make. If you don't use foam tape for dimension, these can be flat for mailing. <br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time to read this post even though it is Christmas related. I appreciate the kind comments you leave. Have a wonderful week ahead!Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-73640039233813664242020-01-04T08:41:00.001-08:002020-01-04T08:41:20.685-08:00A New Year and A New DecadeHi friends! It has been awhile since I last posted. The month of December started for me with a trip to the emergency room for diverticulitis. It took almost the whole month before I was able to eat normally again. I am hoping this new year will be a more healthy one!<br />
<br />
Needless to say, my crafting mojo was gone during December. Fortunately, I did make a few cards beforehand but not nearly as many as I had planned. Even though the Christmas holidays are over, I hope you don't mind if I share the cards I made for Christmas now.<br />
<br />
Both these cards were made with a Memory Box die. This die could be used for any winter-<br />
theme card by just changing the sentiment.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMeNKhBdb2OkURx6nkqUAY5WIk9ChPRKPMRdmagIoTfMMvp6CbfaRBqfvtzEl-SC-Jov40D6vVswagoPNPbbJ8tyiPAmPM9xkGuu0OtC5TG02E8p7Ih-TWtSeGM_WagH_n_92fOgAgIvY/s1600/IMGP3914.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1074" data-original-width="1600" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMeNKhBdb2OkURx6nkqUAY5WIk9ChPRKPMRdmagIoTfMMvp6CbfaRBqfvtzEl-SC-Jov40D6vVswagoPNPbbJ8tyiPAmPM9xkGuu0OtC5TG02E8p7Ih-TWtSeGM_WagH_n_92fOgAgIvY/s320/IMGP3914.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the background behind the tree on this card, I used Distress Ink. I love how the white area in the sky surrounds the bird. The frame was cut from glitter cardstock. I cut the tree again with a green cardstock to layer behind the white for a shadow effect. I added some tiny pearls to mimic snow. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.<br />
<br />

The next card is basically the same except that I did not used Distress Ink for the background. I added a couple more birds also. The "Peace" die is from Frantic Stamper Inc.<br />

<br />
There are a couple more cards to share at another time so as not to make this post too long. <br />
<br />
I want to take time to thank those who reached out to me checking to see how I was and for sending holiday wishes during the busy holiday season. You really brightened my days. I was so touched by your kind words. It means a lot.<br />
<br />
Let me take the time to wish each and everyone a most blessed, happy and healthy new year. For those who celebrate Christmas, I hope it was a wonderful one. I appreciate you stopping by to visit my blog and for the sweet comments you leave. Have a wonderful weekend!Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-82278479181474581672019-11-03T11:14:00.002-08:002019-11-03T11:14:57.145-08:00Sweet Pumpkin CardHappy November, friends! And what a beautiful start to the month it is! Love the chill in the air along with the sunny skies. I spent some time today helping my Dad trim the bushes in his yard and do some raking. Love this time of year! I have a couple of doctor appointments this week and am hoping to get some things resolved and praying that all will be well.<br />
<br />
My card that I'm sharing today uses a stamp and sentiment set called "November Girl" by Unity Stamp Co. She is colored with Copic markers and given some sparkle with Wink of Stella on the pumpkins and Stickles elsewhere. The pattern paper is from Authentique's Pleasant Collection. The brown shimmer cardstock is from DCWV. The sequins are an autumn mix from Studio Katia. If you click on the photo, you can see the details a bit better.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I've used this stamp set before and love it. It is so perfect for this time of the year. I am using it with a Thanksgiving sentiment inside.<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I appreciate the sweet comments that have been left. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead! Enjoy every moment!<br />

Today, I am sharing a card made with beautiful papers from Lemoncraft. The sweet birdhouse is a Magnolia DooHickey die. All other items are from my stash.<br />

It's been awhile since I posted and I have some things I made months ago to share. Activity on this blog hasn't been good. I'm wondering if my posts need to be more interesting. I don't know how to do that! <br />
<br />
Here is a card I made awhile back using a stamps from Unity Stamp Company. I know a lot of people do not care for stamps without a face but I like them as they are different.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia-G-8zYyRvsOLW4f_zmKfojLKTyxdrTXdWU8GzISGPAYlCiA5IvLmg-7KEMKnBCJ0VU11S5Qrf9Ut7Jce-8AtxxAvs7OP99GK2J7q1TggKS7n9bS9mG5l6wG01loHWdLHC3aw2kTSuSM/s1600/2019-05-03+03.32.02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1425" data-original-width="1451" height="314" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia-G-8zYyRvsOLW4f_zmKfojLKTyxdrTXdWU8GzISGPAYlCiA5IvLmg-7KEMKnBCJ0VU11S5Qrf9Ut7Jce-8AtxxAvs7OP99GK2J7q1TggKS7n9bS9mG5l6wG01loHWdLHC3aw2kTSuSM/s320/2019-05-03+03.32.02.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The image was colored with Copic markers with Stickles added for sparkle. I layered a piece of pink ribbon on top of a lace border die cut from Tim Holtz. A few sequins were scattered about for additional sparkle. Unfortunately, I do not remember what paper I used for the background but I think it may be from Prima.<br />
<br />
A little update regarding my health issues post surgery is that some issues still remain. I'm hoping that all will resolve in due time as God sees fit. It does no good to worry. Things could be worse!<br />
<br />
Thank you to those who left comments on my last post. I appreciate each and every one of them. I also appreciate anyone who takes the time to visit this blog. Have a wonderful week ahead!Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-8879108141464394512019-09-15T11:15:00.000-07:002019-09-15T11:15:04.534-07:00Shabby Happy Birthday TagHello there! Just a quick update on my surgery. It's been almost three weeks. My neck is healing well. I have just been dealing with some strange side effects; namely, numbness in toes and odd muscle spasms. The surgeon said it has nothing to do with my calcium levels but that maybe it is a side effect from the anesthesia. I somehow do not think it would last this long. I'm trying not to stress about it but would like to have an answer. We will see.<br />
<br />
On a lighter note, I have a tag that I made quite awhile ago that I do not believe I have shared yet. Here it is.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRZ0Bj7l9nG9ohfunBzwseGOVMNbPHr_ndwlh31cClekD0qN_ZYt_B7TvRnqRX7Dl0-QSeTyLKij612IeXLJdqFUlj6zI9Se5ST7kGrejPQXsnOuS33jeWBQqojEFPivFddSUHKnEG9o/s1600/2019-01-22+03.20.04+%25282%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1030" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRZ0Bj7l9nG9ohfunBzwseGOVMNbPHr_ndwlh31cClekD0qN_ZYt_B7TvRnqRX7Dl0-QSeTyLKij612IeXLJdqFUlj6zI9Se5ST7kGrejPQXsnOuS33jeWBQqojEFPivFddSUHKnEG9o/s320/2019-01-22+03.20.04+%25282%2529.jpg" width="206" /></a></div>
<br />
The papers I used are from Pion Design's "Life is Peachy" collection. I love the soft shades and sweet images that make up these papers. The flowers and lace are from my stash. Some of the flowers are Prima. The beautiful butterfly and chipboard are from <a href="http://www.reneabouquets.com/">Reneabouquets</a>. I used a vintage button to attach the birthday ticket. To finish things off, a bit of lace trim and pearls were tied at the top. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOdRQ1xADumVPXdj3228BlyvnnTA9Olrpj2phi2WVUMTNBPZNfu6HnFl-dhPGmp507KAMiBgszJyGlH4HqErYiY84KBPJWJDnu1PchA4F8fXIRZwpbqHO8Gz77FTk_BtBTld_Z55-v15g/s1600/2019-01-22+03.20.25+%25282%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="759" data-original-width="1600" height="151" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOdRQ1xADumVPXdj3228BlyvnnTA9Olrpj2phi2WVUMTNBPZNfu6HnFl-dhPGmp507KAMiBgszJyGlH4HqErYiY84KBPJWJDnu1PchA4F8fXIRZwpbqHO8Gz77FTk_BtBTld_Z55-v15g/s320/2019-01-22+03.20.25+%25282%2529.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
If you click on each image, you can see the details better. Since Fall is almost here, I'm glad I posted this springlike tag now!<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and visit as well as for the sweet comments that were left on my previous post. I hope things are going well for you wherever you are on this planet. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a wonderful new week ahead!Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-25330625808921290552019-08-25T09:34:00.001-07:002019-09-04T05:29:36.771-07:00Birdhouse TagHi friends! I do not believe I've ever shared this tag I made several months ago, so here it is.<br />

<br />
The papers for the background are from Lemoncraft "Forget-Me-Not." All the flowers, embellishments and lace are from my stash. The sweet 3-D birdhouse is a Magnolia DooHickey die.<br />
<br />

<br />
Here, you can see the dimension from the side view. If you click on each photo, you can see a larger view of the details.<br />
<br />
That's about all for me today. I do have one favor to ask of you and that is to keep me in your prayers as I undergo parathyroid gland surgery on Tuesday. I do appreciate it! As the time grows closer, my anxiety mounts. I am doing my best to stay positive but those nagging thoughts do get in my way! I am a big baby!<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. Here in my neck of the woods, we are having a break from the heat and humidity finally. It is most enjoyable! Have a most wonderful week ahead!<br />

Just thought I'd pop in with a quick post. Today is my birthday. I am so grateful to have reached this point in life. I do have surgery coming up in the near future but am hopeful for good results. In the meantime, I am enjoying spending time with my sweet little grandson. What a blessing!<br />
<br />
Today's card was made a few months ago for a sister-in-law's birthday. I am just getting around to sharing it!<br />
<br />

<br />
The beautiful stamp and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company and was colored with Copic markers. I used some Wink of Stella and Diamond Stickles to add sparkle here and there. I don't remember was paper I used but I am thinking it is from Prima. I added a few sequins for extra sparkle. If you click on the photo, you may be able to see the sparkle better.<br />

It's been very hot and humid here these days and I am so thankful for air conditioning! Summer is not my favorite season, so I'm just biding my time until the Fall! <br />
<br />
Today, I have a tag to share that I had not gotten around to post. This is one of my all-time favorite tags, so I hope you like it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The base is a heavy chipboard tag by Tim Holtz and is covered in paper from Prima's "Lavender" collection. Then the layering began using various pieces of lace and flowers. The resin angels are from <a href="http://www.melissafrances.com/">Melissa Frances</a> and the beautiful butterflies are from <a href="http://www.reneabouquets.com/">Reneabouquets</a>. <br />

This tag was a joy to put together. Plus, it is about time to use up all the pretty trims and embellishments I have been hoarding! <br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and visit. I am always happy to see when someone comments. Have a wonderful week ahead!<br />

It's been a good while since I posted. I don't seem to get many views anymore but I thought I would pop in again. I'm still trying to navigate the new computer we have with Windows 10. I uploaded photos and could not find them. I gave it a try again today and had a difficult time locating them but finally did. So, without further ado, here are a couple of cards I made for Mother's Day. Yes, they are late, but better late than never. The sentiments can be changed out to suit other occasions.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhboPFCLBwsWYjKx1qTUnrQZ_BMIpSbUSdIExui_B4U327fyI5C_lDMfSw7pMbBS2FoKLp0OnzmZrIIEZsa_1V3y_KZAU8lEE2QCHlmPbOhN2Y8LsqOyC5n3nHKgSyb8H8a1vFSU54fWaE/s1600/2019-05-10+21.13.31.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1239" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhboPFCLBwsWYjKx1qTUnrQZ_BMIpSbUSdIExui_B4U327fyI5C_lDMfSw7pMbBS2FoKLp0OnzmZrIIEZsa_1V3y_KZAU8lEE2QCHlmPbOhN2Y8LsqOyC5n3nHKgSyb8H8a1vFSU54fWaE/s320/2019-05-10+21.13.31.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<br />
The pattern paper and the butterfly are from Prima's Love Story collection. I used an embossing folder on white cardstock. The flowers are also Prima that have been in my stash for quite awhile. <br />
The sentiment is from Recollections. A hemp bow was tucked into the flower cluster.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5cZIkDEFP3xP97ojjegk_A8i-JWZZ_mmJIljDWUl-14mhQ7yh9EvpZ5dDacI8YIN8IixGx_mUub0qVDbhKeUSbGgTUhQICymEZUXqZAjYVDLQvrqoLBbUgS5eZQTFhxyHLzIA3EYG99E/s1600/2019-05-10+21.12.46.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1217" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5cZIkDEFP3xP97ojjegk_A8i-JWZZ_mmJIljDWUl-14mhQ7yh9EvpZ5dDacI8YIN8IixGx_mUub0qVDbhKeUSbGgTUhQICymEZUXqZAjYVDLQvrqoLBbUgS5eZQTFhxyHLzIA3EYG99E/s320/2019-05-10+21.12.46.jpg" width="243" /></a></div>
<br />
My next card again uses paper and flowers by Prima. The diecut corner is from a Tim Holtz die.<br />
<br />
Well, friends, that is about it for me today. Hopefully, I will be back sooner with more cards and tags since I already have them edited and ready to go! Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. I do appreciate your sweet comments. Have a wonderful week ahead!Patty O'Malleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04520397578817604075noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735646166687442527.post-75595809091909426852019-04-21T10:01:00.002-07:002019-04-21T10:01:50.453-07:00hippity hoppityHi friends! It's been awhile since my last post. Things have been pretty busy around here and I just haven't had much mojo to create new cards. However, I did whip up a couple of Easter cards this past week. The first one is made with predominately all Tim Holtz products.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh669BuBBeJIO-zkj9kypl_TY9GcYvkAl4LH5kKtHyJA9PYOpT9DB4mD3YMTm6n8u-FKIe7R5dIf9Nxv7c-xKf2DDbI9XbEz3OxOEjRlmvGCgcHm7pwPVN1In8aPz1YCr15sTywoMX50v4/s1600/cottontail+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="760" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh669BuBBeJIO-zkj9kypl_TY9GcYvkAl4LH5kKtHyJA9PYOpT9DB4mD3YMTm6n8u-FKIe7R5dIf9Nxv7c-xKf2DDbI9XbEz3OxOEjRlmvGCgcHm7pwPVN1In8aPz1YCr15sTywoMX50v4/s320/cottontail+card.jpg" width="253" /></a></div>
<br />
I love this cottontail bunny! The pattern paper is from the Wallflower collection and cut with a stitched oval die. The new wildflower dies were colored with Distress Markers. The black mat is embossed but it is hard to see. I used the stitched border die to create a frame around the mat. All edges were highlighted with Distress Ink. A bit of cotton was added to the tail. Hippity hoppity is from a set of Tim's sentiment stamps.<br />
<br />
Next up is a card made from Pion Design's Easter Greetings collection. I kept it fairly simple for my mother as she doesn't like a lot of frills on a card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiolyNLRCOlL4JnkQBzHwL5rZvv9joLyUZ0g8lQiEY5bL6YclkAfczb_3DFC_jjFRfoVz2kuHEkRcT1eI0RYzDigu4edk_MLCdymPIHo62Vy-uz9eHarbK-r3Uw1IVkJz2KhUGRRlf_b_g/s1600/chickie+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="805" data-original-width="960" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiolyNLRCOlL4JnkQBzHwL5rZvv9joLyUZ0g8lQiEY5bL6YclkAfczb_3DFC_jjFRfoVz2kuHEkRcT1eI0RYzDigu4edk_MLCdymPIHo62Vy-uz9eHarbK-r3Uw1IVkJz2KhUGRRlf_b_g/s320/chickie+card.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
All papers and border strips are from the collection. The leaf swirls are a Cheery Lynn die. Crochet lace, flatback pearls, seam binding bow and Stickle accents are the finishing touches. <br />
<br />
Last, but not least, I end this post with a photo of my sweet grandson and his first visit to the Easter Bunny. Thanks so much for stopping by and your kind comments. Happy Easter to those who celebrate.<br />

It is with much joy that I announce the arrival of our first grandbaby, Logan Stephen, on March 14, weighing in at 9 lbs. 3 oz.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1PJeyETdgTgBF0_qol2TxdSkwe7gUPlSJfZm6v5oTQf14_LeVgeVhlxALN1K7I4RTs1ezK7Ur1loYRfNKirRUh_bpbm1Y8LCeRE4TfS36f42TdOPFLhUp2RZIJmfXNi_d55kYMUaL3eo/s1600/Logan.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="720" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1PJeyETdgTgBF0_qol2TxdSkwe7gUPlSJfZm6v5oTQf14_LeVgeVhlxALN1K7I4RTs1ezK7Ur1loYRfNKirRUh_bpbm1Y8LCeRE4TfS36f42TdOPFLhUp2RZIJmfXNi_d55kYMUaL3eo/s320/Logan.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
To celebrate the happy occasion, I made a card for the new parents as well as a shadowbox keepsake.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiCO9lk5S3cU5m5j9948R43IBlVcxQcERqb7dM17M1wzCh6WVeby4mrKRcwzhFuQa5fhGtWZeNmsvkJOa3z59PCw1u-c33Y4_ykq-lk_BmdiPdevOv9TQb9wFL85fg5dFyYLd1ZcSHAww/s1600/new+baby.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="960" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiCO9lk5S3cU5m5j9948R43IBlVcxQcERqb7dM17M1wzCh6WVeby4mrKRcwzhFuQa5fhGtWZeNmsvkJOa3z59PCw1u-c33Y4_ykq-lk_BmdiPdevOv9TQb9wFL85fg5dFyYLd1ZcSHAww/s320/new+baby.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The image is from Stampingbella and is colored with Copic markers. I added some Diamond Dust around the edges. The papers are from Authentique. Everything else was in my stash.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGM26XljluSGrG2fmlfrmseb34UJR_4lnEJVNKe8BY6WwOizaE8VX78uEIWdDDPmp6gSuAf2MdphKe3usn5S140uN4NP1z9wMpY9KQ8HoHnkt7vt41_ioDQe6f1g1sNHawpfttGEbzmA8/s1600/room+in+heart.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1104" data-original-width="1440" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGM26XljluSGrG2fmlfrmseb34UJR_4lnEJVNKe8BY6WwOizaE8VX78uEIWdDDPmp6gSuAf2MdphKe3usn5S140uN4NP1z9wMpY9KQ8HoHnkt7vt41_ioDQe6f1g1sNHawpfttGEbzmA8/s320/room+in+heart.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The shadowbox was a bit difficult to photograph because of the glass. I was trying to avoid a glare. The adorable image and sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co., Phyllis Harris. The hearts are popped up with foam dots. I used Distress Ink to watercolor the image.<br />
<br />
As you can imagine, we are over the moon with happiness. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. I hope to get back to crafting a bit soon. Have a wonderful week ahead!<br />
