Birthday Card for Dad

 Today is my Dad's birthday and this is the card I made for him.  As always, my favorite product line to use for masculine cards is Tim Holtz.

I just love the Feathered Friends die set and used Distress Inks to color up this bird.  The bird is perched on a Funky Wreath die.  The sentiments are cut from the Celebration Words set.  I used the Lumber 3-D embossing folder for the background.  The frame is from Memory Box and the enamel dots are from my stash.

August is a big birthday month for me with family members and friends as well as myself celebrating our birthdays.  Of course, Covid-19 has put a damper on things but we do what we have to do.

Good Times Card

Hello friends!  I have been doing fairly well in preparing cards for Christmas.  I have several finished plus a lot of images colored that are waiting to be made into cards.  Hopefully, I won't be making any last minute cards this year!

Today, I am sharing a card using this adorable stamp set from Penny Black called "yummy".  I had so much fun coloring it with Copic Markers.  There was a lot of fussy cutting but was easy to do.  The die used for the background is from Memory Box.

It is difficult to see in the photo but I used a glitter pen on the corn and watermelon.  Glossy accents was used on the little boy's ice cream.
