Winter Tag

With the unusually mild weather we had this past week, I again had to resort to creating my own winter scene and made this tag.  I first inked the tag with a combination of Tim Holtz Distress Inks in antique linen and tea dye.  The tree stamp was part of a Tim Holtz set I got on sale at Emma's Paperie.  I used forest moss Distress Ink for the tree and just stamped it several times on the tag to create the various shades of the trees.  I applied gesso around the edges of the tag and put dots of it all over the tag which I quickly coated with glitter from Martha Stewart.  The snowflakes are from two Martha Stewart punches.  I just inked them with tea dye and applied touches of gesso and glitter.  I then put Jolee snowflake stickers to the center.  The ribbon is also from Tim Holtz.  I took a piece of off white cardstock, covered it in forest moss ink and punched out the pine branches.  A little gesso was applied to them as well as some Stickles.  SEI stamps were used on the tiny tag and accented with Liquid Pearls in Platinum.

I am still having trouble with blogger.  Anyone else out there experiencing this?  I had to switch to HTML to upload the photos.  I thought the problem was fixed when I switched to Google Chrome but apparently not.  Any other suggestions?

Hope to be back soon.  Thanks for stopping by and any help you can give me.

  3. Ooh, this is gorgeous- I love how you've curled up the edges on your snowflakes :)

Sorry to hear of your Blogger troubles. The only problem I've had with them is I no longer receive comments in my email- for about the last two months. Twice I've randomly had a comment appear in my email but other than that, nothing. And I cannot find anywhere to contact Blogger...so good luck! If you find out how to contact them, I'd love to know too!

    Take care :),
