Hi everyone! Back today to share the final ATC I made for a Halloween swap. I used Graphic 45 papers and chipboard from "An Eerie Tale."
I layered a pre-made ATC card with a piece of the paper. I cut out a tag from another sheet, popped it up with foam dots and layered a chipboard tag onto it. The eyes of the owl are highlighted with Gold Stickles. A bit of cheesecloth was given a coat of purple Glimmer Mist and tucked under the tag. A flower and pumpkin were cut from another sheet of paper and added to opposite corners of the tag. I finished it off with a rhinestone and baker's twine from Recollections.
Next, I created a card from the same papers to send to my ATC swap partner along with the ATCs I made for her. Again, the papers and chipboard tag are from Graphic45. The lace is from Joann's bargain bins. The flowers are a mix of Prima and Recollections. The white glittered pumpkin and the little embellishment in the upper right corner are also from Recollections.
I made a border strip to tuck under the lace with a Martha Stewart punch. I didn't add a sentiment since the background paper had a lot of words and phrases on it.
I've spent the past two days working on a Halloween shadowbox which I hope to share soon. I never realized how much work goes into them! I don't think I've ever made so many Halloween items in one year, but I really love the Graphic 45 paper. Here are the three ATCs together.
That's all for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comments. I look forward to reading them. Have a wonderful week!
Gorgeous cards, Patty! Love the owl and the purple cheese cloth, so creative! And, the second card is so pretty with the paper, flowers, tag, and lace! I can't wait to see your Halloween shadowbox! And, in response to your question regarding where to purchase Saturated Canary stamps, Little Darlings Rubber Stamps carry them. The image that I colored was provided by the class. Take care, hugs!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are fabulous Patty! Love all the blossoms and spooktacular images!
ReplyDeleteWonderful creating!
ReplyDeleteI am just smitten with your Halloween creations, Patty! Your ATC's are absolutely amazing! Love this latest guy with the dyed cheesecloth and glittery owl eyes! Really gorgeous card, too, filled with such amazing details and dimension! You have really knocked this Eerie Tale collection right out of the ballpark, my friend!
ReplyDeleteYour both cards look really pretty and elegant! I just love them!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty, thanks for your lovely comments! I was brought up in the country so we call our evening meal 'tea' and our midday meal is called dinner.. so we had a salad with cold cooked chicken, then some ice cream for dessert (or sweets as some call it) and then we finish with a cup of tea or coffee.. so we had my son and his new girlfriend (first time meeting her too) for our evening meal!! Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteLovely work tiny ats looks os sweet and the card is wonderful.
