Christmas ATCs

It's a beautiful fall day here today in my neck of the woods.  I've got a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup cooking on the stove and some corn muffins baking in the oven.  Comfort food!

Today, I'm sharing two of the Christmas ATCs I made for a recent swap.  I really enjoyed making them and hope you like them.

This one is my favorite.  I layered stickers from Tim Holtz onto a piece of corrugated cardboard that was given a coat of Golden's Pearl Mica Flake.  Love the sparkle it created.  I also dabbed a bit onto the bells.  The snowflake is from Recollections and its tips were given a touch of Tea Dye Distress Ink.

I think I am going to have to make another one for myself!

Next up, is a card I made from an old collection of My Mind's Eye paper.  The paper already had some glittered highlights on it.  The sticker is from Melissa Frances--I gave the icicles a coat of Stickles to highlight them.  The pine branches were made with a McGill punch and also highlighted with Stickles.  A bit of twine was wrapped around the card and finished with a red rhinestone.

There are two more I made for the swap which I'll share at another time.  I really need to get creating my holiday cards as time is moving quickly!  Have you made any progress in your holiday crafting?

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and the sweet comments you leave.  Have a wonderful week!

  1. These look wonderful and so much fun. I'm itching to try my hand at some ATCs but I just can't seem to justify the time at the mo, as I have no real reason to make them except for the fun of it. Maybe after Christmas. Looking forward to seeing your other ones too :) xx

    1. Hi Patty: I really like the vintage look of these ATC'S. You have a knack for
creating a little story on each on such a small piece of cardstock/paper. Do use them for gift tags.....just wondering.
