Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in the world! In honor of the occasion, I made this card for my own sweet Mom.
Reaching into my stash of paper goodies that I have been hoarding, I began with a premade card from DCWV. The patterned papers are from Teresa Collins. I did a border of Liquid Pearls in Buttercup to highlight the paper a bit. The flowers are from Recollections and were highlighted with Stickles. The sentiment was stamped onto a tiny tag and attached to the twine. Rhinestones are also from Recollections. See that pretty butterfly? A friend sent me a letter on some stationery that had these pretty butterflies. I simply fussy cut one and attached it with foam squares for dimension.
These usually aren't colors I go for but I think they made a nice, colorful card. I thought the stamped sentiment worked well for Mother's Day, too.
On that note, I'm sharing a photo taken today of me, my Mom and my son. He surprised us both with flowers and candles. To those celebrating Mother's Day today, I hope you have an enjoyable, relaxing one. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and leaving your sweet comments. xoxo
