Hi there! Recently, I had a couple of birthday cards to make; so I decided to use those cute Bird Crazy stamps by Tim Holtz. I love them! I haven't bought the dies or accessories stamps for them yet, but they are on my list. Both cards use papers from Tim's Wallflower collection.
First up is this sweet little bird that I made for a dear stamping friend. The pattern paper was adhered to a kraft cardstock base. The image was stamped onto Ranger watercolor paper with black Archival Ink. I colored the bird with Copic markers and inked the edges with Squeezed Lemonade and Tea Dye Distress Inks. After adding some gold beads, I adhered the panel to kraft cardstock. A bit of lace and paper string from Tim was added to the left side. The Tim birthday sentiment was stamped onto a piece of cardstock with the edge embossed in clear embossing powder.
Next up is a card made in a similar way. This time, though, I did a lot of fussy cutting with the bird, some flowers and the butterflies. The sentiment was stamped onto kraft cardstock and attached with foam squares. A bit of Stickles was used to add highlights to the flowers and butterflies. All edges were again inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
This card was made for my husband's birthday. I like the dimension it gets from the fussy cuts.
With Easter just a few weeks away, I have had to change gears a bit and make cards for that occasion. I'll be sharing those soon.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate the kind comments you leave and look forward to reading them. Enjoy the week ahead!

Lacy Tag
Hello friends! Back to share with you today a tag I made using things from my stash that have been there for quite awhile.
The tag base is from Ranger and I covered it with papers from K&Co. The lacy frame with flowers is from Recollections. The sweet image was a free print but I can't remember who offered it. I tucked some cheesecloth and a Prima doily under the frame. The border strip of lace, flowers and scalloped paper is also from Recollections. I added a couple of pieces of lace below that. Above the border is a strip of pearls from Recollections. The pearl swirl in the upper right corner is Prima. The organza ribbon and pearl tie at the top are from Joann's.
If you click on each image, you can see the details better. I really love how this tag turned out. Plus, it felt good to use these older, yet still beautiful, craft items.
That's it for me today. I am going to try to get some crafting done. It's been a bit difficult to do having this foot fracture as my supplies are stored in the basement and I have to bring them upstairs. I could have my husband or son get them for me, but they wouldn't know where to begin! I hope you have a fantastic week ahead. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments.

Happy Valentine's Day
Hi friends! Today is Valentine's Day and I have a card to share featuring a stamped image from Sherri Baldy's My Besties.
For this image, I brought out my Copics to color her. While she is holding a heart, I think this stamp could be used for other occasions as well. I added rhinestones to the flowers on her dress and shoes. The frame around her is a die from Wild Rose Studio. The floral paper for the background is Prima as well as the diecut leaves. The fancy trim behind the frame is from Webster's Pages, which I mounted onto pink cardstock. The large rose is handmade by a dear friend. The smaller roses and heart charm are from Recollections. I dabbed a bit of glitter onto all the flowers. A pink satin bow finishes it off.
I made another card using this image for my parents but in a different color scheme. Unfortunately, I neglected to take a photo before I gave it to them. Will take one later and share it.
I ended up getting an air boot to wear for my fractured foot. It is much more comfortable in the morning but starts to bother me later in the day. It takes time but, sometimes, I am not that patient with time! lol
Well, that's it for now. Wishing everyone a wonderful Valentine's Day! Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate you kind comments.

More Valentine Tags
Hi friends! Hope all is well with you. Last Friday, my foot fell asleep and I twisted it when trying to walk. Yesterday, I found out I fractured it. I have a temporary cast until I can get to an orthopedic doctor this week. Needless to say, I am most annoyed! I should have known better. Since it is my right foot, I am not allowed to drive. Thank goodness, it is nothing worse.
Today, I have a couple more Valentine tags to share that I made. Both tags use older paper collections. First up, is a tag made with Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments papers.
This tag came together very quickly with the precut tags and chipboard to match the papers. I simply added lace trim, a doily and a bow for accent. The butterflies were fussy cut from the papers. A couple of tiny satin flowers, a pearl and a bit of Stickles add finishing touches.
My last tag was made with papers, a doily and a brad from Recollections. It makes it very easy to have coordinating pieces.
Some of the flowers are from Prima, and the rest were in my stash. Same goes for the trims and the heart button.
Well, that's it for me today. Time to go put ice on my foot! With all this down time, hopefully I can get some crafting done. Have a wonderful week! Thanks so much for stopping by and for all the kind comments.
