Happy New Year!

Here we are in 2017.  I was not awake to see the new year in.  It's not my favorite holiday.  I spent most of the day putting away Christmas decorations and that always makes me a little sad.

Today, I have a couple of kraft tags to share that I made a few months ago.  They were super easy and quick to do.

Just about everything used on both tags are from Recollections.  On the tag above, the fabric roses are from Tim Holtz and the little doily behind the clock is Martha Stewart.  I love the gold touches on the kraft color.

The next tag uses kraft with black.  I love the burlap flowers on the tag above and this one.

It is a bit difficult to see but the papers used for the background of both tags also has touches of glitter.  If you click on each photo, you may be able to see it better.

Well, that's it for me today.  I am making a traditional New Year's dinner of pork and sauerkraut (said to bring good luck).  My wish for everyone is a most happy and healthy 2017.  Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments.

  5. What gorgeous tags, Patty! I LOVE the kraft and love the combos you came up with here! SUCH beautiful burlap flowers on both.... love those to pieces. And amazing layers!
I've just started taking down some of my Christmas decorations, too, and it is a little sad. I put up things for winter right after, though, and that helps keep the blues away. Hope your New Year is off to a good start. We had pork for dinner on New Year's, too. Let's hope it brings us all some good luck!

  6. These are beautiful Patty! I know how you feel about New Years. I was asleep by 10pm! ha! I always wait until the 7th or so of January to take down the decorations for exactly that reason, too depressing on new years for that! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  10. Hello, dear Patty! I have returned from spending the holiday vacation away with my hubby. :) New Years makes me a little sad, too... I love Christmas so much that it breaks my heart to turn the calendar away from the most magical month. Your tags are absolutely gorgeous, filled with the texture and trims that I treasure! The designs are beautiful, especially with those touches of glitter. Thank you for inspiring us! I wish you a healthy and happy New Year. :)

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen
