A good friend of mine has a Christmas birthday. I decided to make her card using papers from Stamperia's Sweet Christmas line as they are so versatile for any occasion. While this is a Christmas collection, as you can see, it can be used anytime.
Using a 5x5 white card base, I layered two sheets of pattern paper. Foam tape added dimension. The white lace diecuts at top and bottom are from Tim Holtz. The sentiment label was cut from the papers and is set off by a Quinn Flourish Memory Box die which can be found at Crafty City. The gorgeous flowers can also be found at Crafty City. The pink trim, lace bow and pearls are from my stash.
I enjoyed making this card with this soft color palette. That Tim Holtz lace edge die almost looks like an actual piece of lace.
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and visit. I appreciate all your sweet comments. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a wonderful week ahead.
Patty, your card came out absolutely gorgeous! This is beautiful ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty feminine card! I love the pink and all the lace elements. Of course those flowers are gorgeous! You have inspired me to use my TH lace die (never used) and my Quinn flourish die (one of my favorites!).
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are having our weather; are you my neighbor???? Hugs!
Such a gorgeous card Patty! Love all the layers, blossoms and pearls! Hope you are having a great weekend! Sending you warm sunny thoughts from Phoenix!
ReplyDeleteI really like the soft colors, too. A card to be cherished.
ReplyDeleteOur weather continues to be crazy hot... but not as hot today as the weekend.. This card is sooo pretty, love the pink blooms and lovely dies you have used too.. take care in all that snow!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Patty! I love how you edged the center panel with the die cuts and trim. Really beautifully frames the focal image! That lace die really does look like real lace. Sooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteSounds like we are having similar weather patterns. Now it's supposed to snow again.
Oh Patty, this is beautiful beyond description! Your friend must have been tickled pink to receive such a gift. :) The papers are so beautiful (and versatile!) and I am truly fawning over your card design. The soft layers and delicate colors make my heart dance. Stunning work of art, my friend. Have a beautiful night!

Oh Patty, this is beyond gorgeous, so, so pretty and such a wonderful design!!
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I would love to know where you American ladies get your Stamperia papers, ere in the UK they are almost impossible to come by.
Oh, such a gorgeous birthday card, Patty! Lovely patterned papers, fancy borders, and beautiful flowers! We have a sunny day here with warmer temps. I'll just be happy if the temps stay in the 30's and 40s! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteFull of spring light and gentle colour - this is a charming card. My aunt's birthday is on 25th December, so I'm always having to come up with something non-Christmassy... this is great inspiration for next year!
