Hi there, friends! I hope you are all doing well and fitting in some crafty time. Spring left us this week as we've been having quite chilly weather; however, I'm sure it won't last long.
Today, I have a pretty pink tag to share in honor of Spring as I'm sure she'll return! I used one of my favorite collections from Graphic 45, Sweet Sentiments.
The base of the tag was created using some scraps of papers from the line. I then put down a layer of cheesecloth and some pieces I took apart from a diecut wreath. I fussy cut some postage stamps and butterflies from the paper to decorate the post card and also added a couple of dots of Liquid Pearls. The tiny butterflies are highlighted with Stickles. The butterfly/flower set is Prima as is the diecut leaf. A couple of pieces of lace and adhesive pearls finishes it off.
If you click on each photo, you can see the details a bit better. I am loving my Prima skeleton leaves dies. I just love tucking them here and there in a project. I have had the butterfly/flower set for ages and have hoarded it in a few other colors. I think it's time to part with them and make more tags.
Here's hoping the week ahead is a happy and healthy one for all. Thank you so much for stopping by and the kind comments you leave. I appreciate all of you!

Masculine Birthday Card
Hi everyone! It's been a beautiful weekend here with bright sunny days. Spring (and a hint of summer) has definitely arrived. Tomorrow is another story with heavy rain expected. I, for one, do love rainy days too.
Today, I have a masculine birthday card to share. Tan cardstock was used for the base. The papers and some ephemera are from Tim Holtz. The butterfly is Jenni Bowlin. The "Happy" brad is My Mind's Eye. I simply cut the prongs off the brad, glued it to the circular matted ephemera, and adhered it to the journaling card with pop dots. I tied a piece of hemp into a bow on the wooden button and added a couple of Recollections rhinestones to finish it off.
Masculine cards aren't easy for me to make. This was made for a nephew's birthday. While there are no flowers, I couldn't stay away from adding a bow!
I finally started my spring housecleaning this past week. How I hated to give up some of my craft time to do it, but it is a good feeling to see things fresh and clean! Of course, I did squeeze in a bit of craft time. I am working on my first pocket pal letter for a swap and hope to be able to share it soon. What are you working on?
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and for your kind comments. I do appreciate them. Have a wonderful week!

Burlap Embellishments
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good Sunday. Spring is trying to force its way here--the days are warming up to 60s, sometimes 70s, but the nights are still in the 30s to 40s. I enjoy that bit of a nip to the air.
Today's card features some burlap embellishments. It was made for my dear sister-in-law's 50th birthday. If you click on each photo, you can see it in larger detail.
Once again, I used my beloved Tim Holtz postage stamp die for the card base. The papers and journaling tags are Pink Paislee. The gorgeous burlap and velvety flowers and leaves are from Petaloo. I'm not sure who made the butterfly, but the pearl swirl is from Prima.
Here you can see the dimension of the butterfly and its glittery sparkle. I love this shade of blue with the brown tones. I think the aqua burlap is so pretty. I added a Recollections crystal to the center of the large flower. The stamp on the tag is from Papertrey Ink.
That's it for me today. I intend to relax and enjoy this beautiful day. Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate all your sweet comments. Have a wonderful week!

Easter Cards
Happy Easter, friends, and Happy Spring to those who don't celebrate! We just got home from a large Easter breakfast at my parents and will be having dinner later with my husband's family. It is a pretty spring day today with just a bit of coolness in the air.
I have a couple of quick Easter cards I put together yesterday. The other day, I was in Joann's and picked up a set of Tim Holtz holiday blueprint stamps (at 30% off). In it was a bunny stamp that I thought would be perfect for the Easter cards. I got out my watercolor pencils and colored a couple images.
I used things for the cards that I've had for quite awhile. Both cards use papers from Prima's Firefly collection. I love these papers as they have a watercolor look to them. On this first card, the flowers and butterfly are from Recollections. I added some watercolor and Stickles to the butterfly. I gave the frame a coating of Distress Clear Rock Candy Dry Glitter. The roll of lacy trim was only 50 cents at Joann's.
The frame on the second card is from Recollections also. The pearls are Prima. The Easter stamp is from Inkadinkadoo.
That's it for me today. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and for the sweet comments you leave.
