Hi everyone! It's another hot, humid day here. I've spent some time this past week working on an altered box. It's almost finished, and I hope to be able to share it soon.
Recently, I needed two cards for two different swap groups. Being short on time, I decided to use the same Sherri Baldy stamped image on both cards. I also used a Sizzix die for the shape of both cards.
The first card was done in a pink theme. The pink cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper is Prima.
The image was colored with Copics. I used Liquid Pearls and Stickles for highlights. A blue flower from Recollections was attached to the hat. The trim, ribbon, lace and flowers were from my stash.
The next card was done in Aqua tones and put together basically the same was as above. The pattern paper is from Sherri Baldy.
It really was so quick and easy to put these cards together since they had the same basic design. These are also my very first shaped cards, and I definitely think I will be making more!
Well, that's it for me today. I have some things to catch up on as I got a late start today. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. I appreciate all your kind comments. Have a wonderful week!
Two very sweet Cards Nancy, my favourite is your blue one. I love the gingham ribbon on it.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing your altered box.

ReplyDeleteHi Patty. Just thought I would pop in and answer your question regarding my hot glue frame. I squeeze the hot glue into a silicone mold and then let it cool off. It just pops right out after that. sending hugs :)
ReplyDeleteOh, what gorgeous sweet cards, Patty! Lovely shape and the image is colored perfectly! Awesome ribbon and lace, too!
