Happy Monday (although the day is just about over)! It was a picture-perfect weekend here totally relaxing. My son and I enjoyed a very nice lunch out on Friday and just enjoyed time outdoors.
The project I have to share today was made just about entirely with everything from Webster's Pages. First up is a recycled Viactiv Chews container that I covered with paper from the Let's Celebrate line and highlighted with a bit of the Dazzle-Me Gems. I handcut some of the flowers from the paper to cover where the two ends joined.
The lid is a deep pink. I covered it completely with Webster flowers and pinwheel florettes. I took apart a couple of the picks and added them to opposite corners. I created a flower from a piece of their deep pink netting. I cut the butterfly off the stickpin and glued it among the flowers. To finish it off, I used my Martha Stewart frond punch on some scraps of the Let's Celebrate paper to fill in some of the spaces around the flowers. Here is a closer look.
Next, I made a card to match using the papers again from the Let's Celebrate line. I attached the paper to a DCWV card. Some flowers were handcut from the paper and put on the lower left corner, highlighted with a Princess Petal and some sparklers. The gold leaf is from one of the picks. I thought the corners needed something, so I used a the pretty bow and flower stamp and black VersaFine ink to fill in those areas. Last, I cut the tag from a sheet of tags and adhered it to the card with Therm-o-web foam dots and a little bow.
My aunt and godmother has a birthday coming up this month. I plan to fill the container with her favorite hard candy and give her this set. I hope she likes it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
