It's hard to believe the weekend is just about over, although, for me, it finished off much better than it started! I came down with some kind of virus but feel so much better now. We took a trip to Lancaster County on Friday to a favorite place to eat and stopped at a local farm to buy some summer fresh produce. Today, we spent with family celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday. Back to work tomorrow.
I made this card a couple of week's ago while watching Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee. It didn't start out with a royalty theme. I first made a card from some kraft Recollections cardstock. The panels use K&Co Julianne paper which I distressed the edges. Going through some random odds and ends, I found the Queen playing card. I had a pack of Recollections diecut stickers that included the crown and Royalty label placed in two of the panels. The tag was stamped with a PTI sentiment and attached to the vintage seam binding, twine and flower. The rhinestones and pearls are also from Recollections.
I just want to mention that a sweet fellow blogger, Karen Letchworth, is having a giveaway on her blog My Cup Runneth Over. If you leave her a comment by July 2, you'll have a chance to win the new CD#3 from Crafty Secrets of vintage images. Love those images from Crafty Secrets!
Have a wonderful week!
Lovely card i hope you feeling better soon.

So glad to hear you are finally feeling better, Patty! It's been a long haul for you. Your card is adorable! Such a fun royalty theme. I really like the blocked design and the playing card and crown are so cute. Really like the pearls in the corners, too!
