I did a lot of fussy cutting with these papers. Don't you just love the sweet vintage look? I simply added some Stickles and the ribbon and heart button to highlight the pretty papers and chipboard.
The little cherub pulling the cart as well as the love chipboard tag were given some dimension with foam dots.
Next up is a card I made using Recollections Valentine collection. The large flower was made with another Tim Holtz die where the edges were inked with tea dye Distress Ink and given some slight sparkle with Stickles.
I took a red Recollections doily and wrapped it into a cone shape and then added some various flowers and a Recollections charm to create a bouquet. I saw that idea on the Graphic 45 blog. A touch of Stickles was also added to the flowers.
Well, that's it for me today. Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day coming up this week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Never would have thought to use the TH postage die as a card base, but it makes such a pretty edge. Also I really like the doily cone filled with flowers and the heart. Both are lovely vintage type cards!
