World Cardmaking Day

Hi everyone!  Just a quick post today.  With my Mom being ill, I haven't had much time to craft but I did squeeze in some time to make a card since it was World Cardmaking Day.

The layered stamp set, dies and inks are from Papertrey Ink--Winter Fox set.  The paper is Bo Bunny.  I used sequins, glitter glue and a fern punch to add for accents.  I did heat emboss some snowflakes on the oval background (which is a Tim Holtz die) but you can barely see them.

I also used the tree stamp to decorate the envelope.  It was so relaxing to make this card and easy to do.

Thank you so much for taking time to stop by.  I appreciate your sweet comments.  Have a wonderful week ahead!

  2. This is so, so cute, Patty! I really love that little pink fox with his polka dots, and the matching polka dotty trees, too. I do so love a touch of pink at the holidays. And your details with the fern punch, dew drops and stamped background are really fabulous, too!
So glad you had a chance to join in on the fun for WCMD!

  6. Hi Patty, I'm so happy you had a bit of time to craft amongst all those things that are taking up your time. Your card is so sweet and I really do love that fox! I hope that your Mom is better, and that you are still finding time for YOU. I have been thinking of you and your Mom. My Mom has been ill and in the hospital, but is home now and much, much better. My sister went down and stayed with her for a few weeks, and has some awesome faith which she has managed to get into my Mom. She has truly worked miracles in my Mom's attitude toward giving up. I do pray for your Mom. Sending hugs! Sara Emily

PS Thank you for your continued support of my blog. I have been crazy here, and just don't find two minutes to rub together to get on the computer except for DT commitments, and even that ain't so good.
